Sara Lepore

Sara Lepore (1999) è un’artista visiva la cui pratica si concentra su fotografia, video, performance e strategie transmediali per esplorare temi legati all’identità e all’opacità. Si è formata a Spazio Labo’ (Bologna) e ha partecipato a programmi come Speciale 1825 e Jest Torino. Ha ottenuto una borsa per il Master Filling the Gap presso la Fondazione Studio Marangoni. Ha esposto in contesti come A Pick Gallery, Centrale Festival e Bucharest Photofest, ed è stata selezionata per la residenza all’Istituto Italiano di Cultura di Bucarest e per il Premio Ghirri 2025. Il suo lavoro riflette sul rapporto tra contenuto e contenitore, attivando un dialogo critico ed emotivo con il pubblico.

Sara Lepore (b.1999) is a visual artist whose practice focuses on photography, video, performance, and transmedia strategies to explore themes of identity and opacity. She studied at Spazio Labo’ (Bologna) and took part in interdisciplinary programs such as Speciale 1825 and Jest Torino. She received a scholarship for the Filling the Gap Master at Fondazione Studio Marangoni (Florence). Her work has been exhibited at A Pick Gallery, Centrale Festival, and Bucharest Photofest, and she was recently selected for a residency at the Italian Cultural Institute in Bucharest and for the Ghirri Prize as part of Fotografia Europea 2025. Her research reflects on the relationship between content and container, creating works that invite critical and emotional dialogue with the audience.
