Hiền Hoàng

Hiền Hoàng (n. 1990) è un’artista multimediale vietnamita con base ad Amburgo. La sua pratica esplora il rapporto tra memoria, natura e tecnologia attraverso installazioni, video, realtà virtuale/aumentata e performance. Nel 2023 è stata finalista al Discovery Award di Les Rencontres d’Arles con il progetto Across the Ocean, e ha ricevuto un Art Grant del Ministero della Cultura di Amburgo per Scent from Heaven, che combina tecnologie scientifiche e VR. Nel 2024 ha vinto il Foam Paul Huf Award con Garden of Entanglement, un progetto che indaga la vita vibratoria degli alberi. Il suo lavoro è stato esposto in festival e sedi internazionali come Les Rencontres d’Arles e CentroCentro (Madrid).

Hiền Hoàng (b. 1990) is a Vietnamese-born multimedia artist based in Hamburg. Her work explores the relationship between memory, nature, and technology through installation, video, virtual/augmented reality, and performance. In 2023, she was a finalist for the Discovery Award at Les Rencontres d’Arles with Across the Ocean, and received an Art Grant from the Hamburg Ministry of Culture for Scent from Heaven, a project combining scientific technology and VR. In 2024, she won the Foam Paul Huf Award with Garden of Entanglement, which investigates the vibrational life of trees. Her work has been shown at major international venues, including Les Rencontres d’Arles and CentroCentro (Madrid).
