Edda Fahrenhorst

Edda Fahrenhorst (nata nel 1974 ad Hameln, Germania) si occupa della direzione artistica di Yeast Photo Festival in Italia, è titolare dell’agenzia Fotogloria, in Germania, e curatrice del festival di fotografia naturalistica ‘Horizonte Zingst’, in Germania.

Dopo aver studiato fotografia ed essersi formata come editor di testi e immagini, nel 2008 è entrata a far parte del festival fotografico di Zingst in qualità di freelancer, diventando poi co-curatrice nel 2018, e curatrice nel 2020. In questo contesto è anche curatrice responsabile della Leica Gallery di Zingst e dell’ampio programma espositivo annuale di Zingst.

Nel 2010 ha inoltre fondato ad Amburgo l’agenzia Fotogloria, punto d’incontro tra fotografia e nomi del calibro di Siemens e Osram, in ambito aziendale. Nel 2022 ha assunto il ruolo di direttore artistico di Yeast Photo Festival.

Edda Fahrenhorst (b. 1974, Hameln, Germany) is the artistic director of Yeast Photo Festival, Italy, owner of agency Fotogloria, Germany, and the curator of the environmental photography festival “Horizonte Zingst“, Germany.

After studying photography and training as text and picture editor, she joined in 2008 the photo festival in Zingst as a freelancer, becoming co-curator in 2018 and curator in 2020. In this framing she’s also responsible curator for the Leica Gallery Zingst and the expanded year-round exhibition program in Zingst.

In 2010 she furthermore founded the agency Fotogloria in Hamburg, which brings together photography and companies like Siemens or Osram in the corporate field. In 2022 she started as artistic director for Yeast Photo Festival.
